i guess you would call this the feng shui edition of the friday five:
It can't really be that time again already, can it? Here is this week's friday five:
1. What is your most prized material possession?
The first thing that popped into my head is a pair of blue saffire and diamond earrings. They belonged to my mother, and she gave them to me after I got them out of hock the second time. They are stunning, and remind me of a time that in my wildest dreams I could have never imagined possible.
2. What item, that you currently own, have you had the longest?
Thinking. . . thinking. . . I hate to say it but other than a few photographs, there isn't much left of my childhood. I think as far back as I can go is a teddybear I still have that was a present from my Aunt Cookie when I was 12. He has hugged most of the people important to me.
3. Are you a packrat?
No -- I live with one!
4. Do you prefer a spic-and-span clean house? Or is some clutter necessary to avoid the appearance of a museum?
I see nothing wrong with spic-and-span. Quoting Jamie Buckman from Mad About You, "I got tired."
5. Do the rooms in your house have a theme? Or is it a mixture of knick-knacks here and there?
In its current condition I would have to say that it is still unsettled. I guess you could call that a theme.
