when the gods conspire

in a blur

Truly I believe all you have to do to receive is ask. Sometimes all you need to do is whisper softly under your breath.

Earlier we went for a stroll around Bay Street. As we passed the horses in front of the soon-to-be-open P. F. Changs, I saw the poster for the Farmer’s Market. Even though I haven’t been often to this one, it is something I truly adore. All I could think was where on earth am I going to find a Farmer’s Market in (downtown) Chicago?

Well, a few minutes ago I got an email (strangely enough entitled “twilight zone”) about the West Loop Farmers Market. It is held Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. through October 28 (Randolph Street Courtyard, 843 West Randolph Street, behind Marché; entrances also at Peoria and Green Streets).

Now if I could snap my fingers and somehow get this place packed up. Well, it can’t hurt to ask. ;)

If farmer's markets are what you want, you might want to consider a day trip to northern IN (my 'stomping grounds')...then you can visit the real farms, or just pick some veggies from my parent's garden. ;)

See you all in Chicago.
