Mary had a little lamb,
it’s fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went
that lamb was sure to go.
It followed her to school one day,
which was against the rules.
It made the children laugh and play
to see a lamb at school.
In the morning B starts his first day at the GSB. Well, technically it is orientation, also known as CORE.
When B started undergrad the story goes that his Dad shadowed him (quite literally) for a couple of weeks. It got so bad that B finally had to call his Mom back in Manila to get her to intervene (and his Dad on a plane). I confess there is a part of me that wants to take over where B’s Dad left off. I think I will be good and let browniecow take my place. I won’t fit in B’s backpack anyway.
It is hard to believe that this is really starting. I know at some point (about 18 months from now) I’ll look back and ask where the time went. It just seems like it took so much to get here. It is like that scene in Dune, when they realize the prophecy has come to fruition.

Tell me of your homeworld, Usul....
You know, being a b-school partner has got to be some kind of bizarro-world experience. I always teased Matt that he socialized more with my classmates than I did; he's still in touch with several! Maybe that will be the case for you, as well!
