rumor has it b is very smart or ...

So I had pickup duty after all tonight. B was the only on though. Guess word got out about how last week I ended up driving the wrong way down a one-way street. I didn’t get caught, no one saw me, and no one was hurt. Really I am a good driver.

On the way home B told me about his marketing class. It seems that the professor described an ad campaign for a car that had the tag line something like “it’s not a choice – it’s the way we’re built”. He asked the class who they thought the target audience was?

I’ll give you a couple of minutes to think about it, and see if you, dear reader, can come up with the correct answer. Apparently B did.

Class let out for a break shortly after this, and reportedly B was the talk of the hallways. Students ventured that he was either very smart or yes, gay. While I know that he isn’t, and really wouldn’t care if he were (although I suppose that it would change our relationship some), it isn’t exactly something you want buzzing around the rumor mill. Guess he will need to use the skills he is learning in this class to get them to focus on the smart. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay – he just isn’t. He is very smart though, for the record.
