Although it is the beginning of week 9, B has actually finished one of his classes. Since next Monday is Memorial Day, there is no class, so the professor had them turn in their final papers today. How wrong is that?
Of course it does leave him more time to work on his other two classes, but still. Even more bizarre is that the Saturday section actually meets for ten sessions, so they don't turn their papers in until next Saturday. But it is water under the bridge at this point.
Graduation is now 20 days away!! We still have no idea where we are headed. I feel like I am rolling down a hill that leads to a big dark abyss. The parental unit arrives in the country this week. They plan on spending Memorial Day weekend in NYC, and then descend upon Chicago. Can you tell I am excited?
Two more cities have been added to the list of possibilities: Austin, Texas and Cincinnati, Ohio. I really try not to think about it, as it is easy to slip on that slope. Realizing how quickly things will probably need to happen makes me start to panic. It is becoming clear how little time I will have to get used to our next stop.
The plan is to keep busy, and I certainly have enough to do. There is unpacking an laundry from our jaunt to Minnesota. Plus there is the triple shower to get ready for. And my photography class starts next week too.
