i got a new camera
I haven't really taken any pictures with it yet. Sad, but true.
It took me three days after it arrived to even open the box. Part of was I was busy getting ready for B's parents arrival. The other part though is so much bigger.
I have taken the camera out once. I wore it around my neck in 100F heat. I took a total of one photo. And I am sure it is awful.
I feel like I am betraying my old camera. I also feel like this camera is so much different that just getting used to it is going to take a while. I have to learn to do things differently. It is an adjustment.
I know that really all I need to do is get out there and do it. Don't worry that what I initially shoot is crap. It will come around soon.
And given that Mother's Day is coming up, and I have made a list of people to send postcards to this year, I even have excuse to get out there and do. A really good one.
