long time - no blog

It isn't that I don't have anything to write about, or that I don't have time. Really I can't quite explain what has kept me away from here for so long. My goal though is to write.

In case you are curious, here are just a few of the things I have been up to of late:

• 2 week trip up the west coast, aka honeymoon 2.0.


• survived 10 year anniversary of my mother's death.


• after a 20+ year absence, have been to Disneyland twice, with two more visits coming up!


• made major progress on the name change front.


• dealing with the in-laws, who are back in the country.
